In the former NZZ printing plant in Zurich-Schlieren, we are writing the stories of tomorrow: JED is the new hub for innovation and knowledge transfer. A place for collaboration and co-creation.

JED Art Event – Art as a unifying experience

With the JED Art Event in April 2026, the JED Campus once again became a thriving hub for art, exchange, and connection. The exhibition “Between Making and Knowing” brought together artists, campus users, and visitors from the region, offering new perspectives on art at the intersection of human creativity and technological influences.

In a relaxed atmosphere, conversations, new connections, and a direct dialogue between art, guests, and the community emerged. The opening brought to life how culture acts as a unifying element and strengthens the JED Campus as an open space for creativity, local networking, and shared experiences.

A tasty change during your lunch break: the ‘Döneramt’ food truck can be found on the JED site.

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm

The menu features authentic döner kebabs and falafel – freshly prepared, deliciously spiced and served in the traditional flatbread. Ideal for a quick and easy lunch break right on campus.

Please note: Opening times may vary if the food truck is on external assignments.

The Bouldering Lounge brings activity, social interaction and energy to JED. As the largest bouldering lounge in the Zurich area, it offers a wide range of activities for beginners and advanced climbers alike.

Designed to be particularly child- and family-friendly, it features a separate children’s area that provides space for safe climbing and playful movement. Complemented by training sessions and events, the Boulderlounge is a place for sport, community and active recreation – right in the heart of the campus.
